Let me introduce myself. My name is Fintan McKahey, a 23 year old singer-songwriter, based on the Atlantic coast of West Cork, Ireland. My latest work, ‘God Games’ will be a 6 track EP, in the psychedelic folk genre. I have been immersed in this current project for the past eighteen months, exploring collaborations with other artists, that have inspired me to develop my music down new pathways.

These new songs are now recorded and I was able to underwrite the studio costs myself but in order to complete their creation, I need your help.

Kicked off December with a bang last night. Whelan’s Live saw the 4 of us take their show in a different direction with a full band. Fintan McKahey opened the night showcasing some new material. Great evening all round.

Here is the latest track from Fintan McKahey to celebrate summers end & #Samhain festivities… ‘Amicable Ambience’ is an old song that has been played live over the years but never been released as a studio version. The track features Corks own ‘Darren Jennings’ on drums and ‘Aaron O’sullivan’ creeps in for a solo, to seal the deal. Last Sunday as part of the Cork Jazz Festival, Fintan played a solo support slot for ‘The 4 Of Us’ in the iconic venue that is – ‘Live @ St. Lukes’.
