‘Two Lifetimes Late’ is Fintan McKahey’s debut EP which was released June 19th, 2016, with a launch at the iconic ‘Debarra’s Folk Club’, Clonakilty.
It can be purchased on iTunes and all other major retailers.-https://itunes.apple.com/album/id1126503909?ls=1&app=itunes
The EP is predominantly based around Fintan’s percussive style of guitar and ‘Rap – like’ approach to vocals. While it is largely an acoustic work, the record undoubtably takes a step off the beaten track and into the realm of psychedelia. It is very much an independent effort all round, having written, performed and produced ‘Two Lifetimes Late’ almost entirely himself.
However, the project almost certainly wouldn’t have been seen through without the wisdom and expertise of Darren Jennings (Engineered,Mixed,Mastered); and subtle swells of slide guitar from Daniel Nash seem to be the icing on the cake.

“Keep an eye out for 20 year old Fintan McKahey.. I probably shouldn’t make comparisons, but with shades of Ry Cooder & Mark Knopfler at their best; I mention his age because the depth of his songs belies it.” – Mark Holland, West Cork People
